Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

Large picture windows frame impressive views of Wilson Peak and the Spanish Peaks Range. Built on three levels, this 5,250 square-foot home is ideal for groups and families, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests. The master bedroom, conveniently located on the main level, features a king bed, private deck, gas fireplace and en-suite bath with mountain views from a large soaking tub. A guest master, also featuring a king bed, offers total privacy as the only room (along with a detached private bath) on the upper level. On the main level, an expansive deck offers ample outdoor seating with breathtaking views of the Spanish Peaks Range. Fire up the BBQ grill for apres-ski al fresco, or simply take in the sun on your private patio in between runs. Silverado Lodge is a sprawling modern cabin situated halfway between Big Sky’s Town Center and the Spanish Peaks mountain range, a 5-minute drive from restaurants, shops and entertainment downtown and just 20 minutes from skiing at Big Sky Resort. Constructed using Western red cedar logs, the 5-bedroom estate offers a feeling of seclusion with sweeping views and a private sledding hill in the backyard. High ceilings with towering beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple private decks and wood-burning fireplaces evoke a classic alpine lodge, while radiant heat, DirecTV and a bubbling hot tub add modern comforts. In the open-concept living area, a wrap-around leather sofa and armchairs frame a two-story, stone fireplace and large-screen TV for cozy nights after a day of mountain adventures. Through an arched log doorway, a formal dining table seats 8 guests for dinner with mountain views. Four stools at the kitchen breakfast bar allow for a separate “kids’ table.” The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for home-cooked meals. Sliding glass doors open the dining area onto an expansive deck overlooking the Spanish Peaks. A table and chairs allow for al fresco dining on blue-bird days, while lounge chairs and a private hot tub add relaxation. Stretching the length of the home, the deck also has entrances from the living area and master bedroom.
