Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

This deluxe slopeside facility combines the convenience of a hotel with the amenities of a condominium. Flexible lock-offs allow for many sleeping configurations. The Summit melds European sophistication with Western style. The elegant Euro-Western Summit at Big Sky made its debut in March 2000 and features eight residential levels, two public levels with reception, concierge, meeting rooms, Provisions resort wear gift shop and an espresso cart. There are also three levels of underground parking. Skycrest boasts fabulous views and offers spacious condominiums with rock fireplaces, private indoor hot tubs, underground parking and the most dramatic views in Big Sky. Skycrest condominiums are less than a mile from the lifts across the main road and serviced by the free shuttle. Perched atop the ridge facing Lone Mountain, Skycrest affords the most spectacular views of Mountain Village. Additional amenities include living room with balcony, and laundry facilities.

Snowflake at Skycrest is a roomy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo that sleeps 4 with breathtaking views of Lone Peak in the Skycrest building in the Mountain Village neighborhood. Conveniently located across the street from the Skyline Shuttle Stop, it’s easy to access the nearby ski runs and lifts at Big Sky Resort. Guests will love the spacious accommodations, back deck with a cozy firepit area, and the indoor wood burning fireplace.

The Black Eagle Lodges are less than 1/4 mile to the Plaza and nearly at the foot of the Black Bear Poma Lift. Ski in to your elegant accommodations and relax on the scenic deck. Treat yourself to comfort and convenience, richly decorated with wood and stone accents. Spacious master suites, extra sitting rooms and rec rooms add to the character of these multi-level condominiums. Amenities include a wood-burning fireplace, washer/dryer, and 2-car garage.

Summertime guests enjoy many outdoor activities for such as fly fishing on the Gallatin River, mountain biking, hiking and much more. Ousel Falls is a nearby waterfall with a short hike on a well-maintained park trail. For those looking for more adventure, Beehive Basin is a day hike offering some of the best wildflower viewing in the lower 48 and rewarding hikers with a picturesque alpine lake. Spanish Peaks Mountain Club also features an 18-hole Tom Weiskopf championship golf course.

Alpine Meadow Chalets are surrounded by lodge pole pines and are located within a half mile of the Madison Base Area. Chalets feature fine finishes, designer décor with cathedral ceilings, stone fireplaces, decks, in-unit laundry facilities and full kitchens. A private vehicle is recommended.

Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park.
