Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. From this mountain-top estate, Big Sky’s two base areas are a 5-minute drive away, offering easy access to ski school, shopping, dining and family activities. Big Sky Town Center, offering restaurants, movies, free concerts, and a seasonal farmers’ market, is a 10-minute drive. In the summer, escape to the Beehive Basin Trailhead just 3 minutes away for hiking along wildflower-lined trails.

Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. A wood dining table with bench seating and a dine-in kitchen counter are inviting spots to enjoy a quick snack or a home-cooked meal. A guest bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed with sliding glass doors that open to the patio.

Skycrest boasts fabulous views and offers spacious condominiums with rock fireplaces, private indoor hot tubs, underground parking and the most dramatic views in Big Sky. Skycrest condominiums are less than a mile from the lifts across the main road and serviced by the free shuttle. This media room doubles as a fourth bedroom with a deluxe Queen Plus Comfort Sleeper sofa bed. The great room has a gas fireplace and a deck with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the breathtaking views. The well-appointed kitchen offers a copper sink, stainless steel appliances and is complete with a wine fridge in the center island. The dining area seats up to 10 guests. There is an additional ski room attached to this suite with an 8 pair boot dryer, 2 storage benches, 10 pair ski rack and two snow board racks. There is also a laundry room for your convenience.
