Graphic Web Designer: The Graphic Web Designer is responsible for bringing the brand to life through web and visual design elements. Immediate projects include a major refresh of the Ski.com website, creating a brand webstore, ongoing marketing asset creation and building a new adventure travel website. The right candidate has a deep passion for travel and mountains and can convey through design a strong feeling of wanderlust and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within brand and web style guidelines and/or revise as needed
  • Take a mobile-first approach when creating and revising website workflows and templates
  • Design wireframes, page layouts and new templates
  • Work with front-end developers to deploy designs
  • Help design products for the To The Mountains brand store
  • Help launch and maintain the To The Mountains brand store website
  • Create design assets, including:
    • Banners
    • Static and animated digital display ads
    • Landing pages
    • Graphics for organic and paid social posts
    • Email newsletter templates
    • Print materials as needed
  • Assist with the design of pitch decks and presentations

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design or related field a plus
  • Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
  • Experience working with a mobile-first approach
  • Ability to work with the marketing and development teams to take a project from concept to launch
  • Strong understanding of graphic fundamentals, color theory, image composition and typography
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Understanding basic UI/UX principles
  • Video-editing skills a plus
  • Proficiency with design tools and software
  • Attention to detail
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Creative eye
  • Willingness to work through multiple iterations of a design to meet a goal
