Onsite amenities include a cozy lobby with fireplace, jazz bar, casual restaurant, room service, ski storage, free parking, laundry facilities and a free shuttle ride to the slopes. If you’d rather walk to the lifts in the morning, you don’t have far to go as the Mountain House base area is only a 300-yard walk away and features full skier services, including child care and ski school.

    Located just 400 yards from the chairlifts, the Alpine Slopes Lodge is just one half-mile from The Keystone Conference Center. The Lodge’s sauna and 12-person spa overlook Keystone trails.     As a popular resort for skiers on a shoestring, there’s a surplus of inexpensive establishments. For a quick breakfast or lunch, don’t miss Haywood Café off of Highway 6. Their burgers and cheese steaks are well-loved, and you won’t pay more than $15 for a meal. For tasty pizza that’s perfect for bringing back to the condo or hotel, don’t miss Pizza 101. A meal at Dos Locos is in order during your Keystone ski vacation, the margaritas are cheap, the free chips and salsa are bottomless, and the margaritas are cheap. The entree portions are large and under $15. If you do venture out in search of a more upmarket dining experience, head to Black Bear Grill, on Highway 6. Here you’ll find tasty sandwiches, burgers flat bread pizzas, soups, steaks and fish, and you won’t spend more than $30 on an entree.
